from lung and heart disease from Mediator, a weight-loss drug for diabetics from the well-known

Judge Salve Tunis wrote in the judgment that the company had known about the harmful dangers
of the drug for many years but had never taken the necessary precautions. Expressing anger, he also

The surveyor company's first attention was drawn to the side effects of the drug by a female
pulmonologist and voices were raised against the company at every level, after which thousands
of people filed lawsuits against the company in 2019.
