Five youths gang-rape girl in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh | News Hub

   Lucknow (News Hub update news) The son and four friends of the leader of the ruling
Bharatiya Janata Party in the Indian state, the girl was gang-raped. According to Indian media,
two days ago, five thugs entered a house within the limits of Katra Bazaar police station in Gonda
district of Uttar Pradesh abducted an 18-year-old girl and gang-raped her.

   According to News Hub, the victim said that the boys were leaders of the Bharatiya Janata
Party Blue Raj Paswan's son was also involved. According to Indian media news, Paswan's son
along with four friends reached Katra Bazaar to the campaign, where they abducted a sleeping
girl at home and then took her away to the desert and gang-raped her.

   According to the family, due to political influence, the police refused to register a case and
termed the incident as a minor incident of molestation. When another political party in the area,
the Samaj wadi Party, raised the issue, police filed a case against Paswan's son and his friends
at the behest of the victim's family.

   Police arrested one accused of Khanpur after political turmoil, while others were assured of
the early arrest. Deputy Inspector General of Colonel Ganj Police Station Manna Upadhyay said
that a report was received by a woman that the youth of the village had gang-raped the girl, after
which a case was registered and an accused was arrested. He assured the victim's family of
justice and said that the police were investigating the matter.
