   Multan Sultans defeated Karachi Kings by 3 runs in a Pakistan Super League match.

   Multan (Newshub Update Latest Cricket PSL8 News 23 February 2023) In the 11th Pakistan Super League 8, Multan Sultans defeated Karachi Kings by 3 runs after a sensational match. Kings won the toss and decided to bowl against the Sultans. Multan Sultan's openers Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood gave the team a good start.

   Multan Sultans scored 50 runs in the powerplay thanks to brilliant innings by Shaan Masood. After Shan Masood scored 51 runs, he gave the wicket to Shoaib Malik. Mohammad Rizwan maintained his performance against Karachi Kings by building a century partnership with Riley Russo to take the team to 196 for the loss of 2 wickets.

   Mohammad Rizwan played an unbeaten inning of 110 runs thanks to 4 sixes and 10 fours.

   Karachi Kings opening batsmen Mathew Wade and James Vince showed lightning-speed batting. Matthew Wade was dismissed for 72 after scoring 20 runs off Osama Mir. James Vince played an inning of 75 runs off 34 balls, but when the match was in favor of Karachi Kings, James Vince was run out.

   Hyder Ali scored 12 runs and Shoaib Malik returned to the pavilion with 13 runs while captain Imad Wasim played an unbeaten inning of 46 runs off 26 balls but could not lead the team to victory.

   Karachi Kings team entered the field without their fast bowler Mohammad Amir. Karachi Kings players include captain Imad Wasim, James Vince, Ben Cutting, Haider Ali, Shoaib Malik, Matthew Wade, Irfan Khan Niazi, Aamir Yamin, Muhammad Umar, Imran Tahir, and Akif Javed.

   On the other hand, the home team Multan Sultans includes captain Muhammad Rizwan, Shaun Masood, Riley Russo, David Miller, Osama Mir, Kieron Pollard, Khushdil Shah, Kalous Braithwaite, Abbas Afridi, Muhammad Ilyas, and Ehsanullah.
