Riyadh (Newshub Update Latest News 21 January 2023) Saudi Airlines 'Al-Saudia' has announced to provide of a 96-hour tourist visa with air tickets. According to Arab News, the spokesman of Saudi Airlines "Al-Saudia" Abdullah Al Shahrani has said that according to the Saudi Vision 2030, visa facilities will be provided soon for those who come to Saudi Arabia for the purpose of tourism and Umrah. A 96-hour visa will be issued at the time of purchase of a ticket to enter the Kingdom, however, only Saudi travelers will be given the facility of a tourist visa at the time of purchase of the ticket.
Spokesperson Abdullah Al-Shahrani said that the duration of the tourist visa will be 4 days, on which Umrah will be allowed, participation in events and other programs will be allowed, and visa holders will be able to visit any city in Saudi Arabia.
In this regard, Al-Saudia Airlines has obtained the support of several government institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Interior, and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, because, under the Saudi Vision 2030, a maximum number of tourists are being provided the opportunity to come to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The spokesperson said that 10 new planes will be added to Al-Saudia Airlines during the year 2023. Seven Airbus A321s and three Boeings will be added, along with a 40 percent increase in international flights and 500,000 seats for domestic flights.
