Pakistan won the second Test against Zimbabwe by 147 runs
Harare (News Hub update sports news) Pakistan won the second Test against Zimbabwe by
147 runs and won the Test series 0-2. On the last day of the Test, Luke Jongwe became the fifth
victim of Shaheen Afridi by scoring 37 runs and the entire Zimbabwean team returned to the
pavilion by scoring 231 runs.
For Pakistan, Shaheen Afridi and Noman Ali took 5.5 wickets.

In the second match of the series played in Harare, Zimbabwe started batting for 52 runs for 4
wickets. With the addition of one run, Hassan Ali got the wicket of Chesbro. When Zimbabwe's
score reached 68, Hassan Ali ended Regis Chekabwa's 33-run innings.
Luke Jongwe soon became Hassan Ali's wicket.
Roy Kaya and Donald Trypano completed
the team's century and took the score to 108, but Sajid Khan did not allow Trypano to go beyond
23 runs.
Roy Kayabhi scored 11 and also gave the wicket to Hassan Ali, the last batsman to be
out was Blessing Mazharbani who scored 7 and was run out.
For Pakistan, Hassan Ali bowled brilliantly in the first innings of the second Test and took
5 wickets, Sajid Khan took 2 wickets, Tabish Khan and Shaheen Shah Afridi took one wicket
each.
Zimbabwe did not have a good start in the second innings. Zimbabwe needed 378 scores to
equalize the deficit of the first innings after the follow-on in the second innings but the first wicket
fell to 13 when Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Masakanda.
Zimbabwe wicketkeeper Regis Chikaboa and captain Brendon Taylor resisted but Shaheen Shah
and Noman Ali thwarted their intentions. Shaheen Afridi dropped Taylor and did not give him a
chance to complete his half-century. Regis Chekaboa played the highest innings of 80 score but
Noman Ali made him run at 170.
Milton Shamba was dismissed for 16 runs.
Noman Ali lined up Zimbabwe's wickets in the 55th over of the innings, sending two batsmen
to zero. Luke Jongwe 31 runs while Mazharbani is playing at zero to support him. At the end of
the third day, Pakistan needed just one wicket to win the series 0-2, while Zimbabwe needed
158 runs to close the first-innings deficit.
First On the day, Pakistan declared their first innings at 510 for eight. Pakistan beat Zimbabwe
in the first match of the series to take a 1-0 lead in the series.
