Johannesburg (News Hub update sports news) On the second day, South Africa defeated
Pak by 17 runs. When Pakistan started the innings, Imam-ul-Haq gave the wicket to Lungi Ngidi
in the second over of the innings. Fakhr Zaman was accompanied by the captain Babr Azam
and the two shared 63 runs for the second wicket. Babr, who scored a century in the last match,
came back in good form, but after scoring 31 runs Energy became Nokia's wicket.

The Pakistani team had not yet recovered when Muhammad Rizwan was caught in the slip
without opening his account by a single ball. Fakhr Zman along with Danish Aziz had raised the
score to 85 when the second ODI batsman Danish Aziz also lost heart. Asif Ali and Shadab Khan
returned to the pavilion after scoring 19 and 13 runs respectively. When Faheem Ashraf was out,
the Pakistani team had lost 7 wickets for 205 runs, and it seemed that maybe the Pakistani team
would return to the pavilion soon, but Fakhr Zman proved all estimates wrong.

Fakhr Zman shared a 68-run stand with Shaheen for the eighth wicket and also completed his
century. Shaheen's share in this partnership was 5 runs. Fakhr Zman did not team up with Haris

to increase the score, during which De Kock completed his half-century. The duo put up a
114 run stand for the second wicket, but Harris dropped 80 off 86 balls with the help of 10
fours, and a six to give Pakistan a second victory. Harris had a chance to take the wicket on
the next ball but Mohammad Rizwan, could not catch South African batsman Van Dawson.

Taking the advantage of the drop catch, Dawson quickly completed his half-century by playing
aggressive strokes around the wicket. He is a victim to Hasnain after playing 60 off 37balls.
