Russia (News Hub update news) The Russian news agency quoted the media and information technology watchdog as saying that Twitter had been given a month to avoid the shutdown.

Twitter service was disrupted last week by a Russian company.

He said the US platform had not complied with Russia's requests, which included child pornography, child suicide, and incitement to use drugs.

"We're giving Twitter a month," said Vedam Sabotin, deputy head of the Russian Monitor. In the meantime, we will see the response of the website regarding the banned content. He added that " if the Twitter website does not act, it will be completely blocked in Russia."

"No action has been taken to remove the banned content from the Twitter website," Sabaton told the Interfax news agency. Over the past few months, Russian authorities have stepped up pressure on Western media, especially those that support criminals.

The Russian watchdog said last week that it had reduced the speed of the Twitter website for all mobile and 50 percent of computer users across the country. A spokesman for the Twitter website responded by telling AFP that "the company does not support any illegal behavior and has a website concerns about the closure of online public relations."
