   Floods caused by incessant rains have caused widespread destruction in Somalia, killing at least 100 people and displacing 700,000 people.

   Mogadishu:(News Hub Update Latest News. November 25, 2023)According to the World News Agency, the flood relay that came after the heavy rains in Somalia entered the residential area and destroyed everything.


   More than 2 million people were affected by the flood, out of which 7 lakh people were displaced. The largest refugee camp in the country, Al Hudayah, has run out of space.


   According to Somalia's National Disaster Management Agency, about 96 people have died in the floods so far. Citizens struggling with famine and drought are now facing floods.


   Due to climate change, this unexpected and unusual series of rains in the capital Mogadishu and its suburbs will continue till April next year and the monsoon may start again after two months.


   It should be remembered that the events of climate change are happening with intensity in African countries.


   Dozens of people have also been killed by floods in Kenya and Ethiopia, according to the United Nations humanitarian agency, and warns that the situation is likely to worsen.
