    Chennai:(News Hub Update latest ICC World Cup News. October 27, 2023) Chasing the target against Pakistan in the 26th match of the ICC World Cup, South Africa scored 136 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 22 overs.

   Earlier, thanks to Shadab Khan and Saud Shakeel's partnership of 84 runs, the entire Pakistan team was bowled out for 270 runs in the 47th over.

   Opener Abdullah Shafiq scored 9 off 17 balls, Imam-ul-Haq 12, Mohammad Rizwan 31, Mohammad Nawaz 24, Iftikhar Ahmed 21, captain Babar Azam 50, Mohammad Nawaz 24, Shaheen Afridi 2 in the match held Chennai at the Chidam Baram Stadium. Shadab Khan and Saud Shakeel shared a partnership of 84 runs for the sixth wicket, Shadab Khan scored 43 runs and Saud Shakeel returned to the pavilion on 52 runs.

   For South Africa, Tabriz Shamsi took 4 wickets, Marco Johnson 3 wickets, Gerald Coetzee 2 wickets, and Langi Ngidi 1 wicket.

   Earlier, Pakistan team captain Babar Azam won the toss and decided to bat first, the Pakistani team captain said that they will try to win by setting a big target against the Proteas and entering the tournament with new determination.

   Pakistan team captain Babar Azam said that two changes have been made in the team, Mohammad Wasim Jr. has replaced Hasan Ali and Mohammad Nawaz is part of the playing XI instead of Osama Mir.
