Australian all-rounder Maxwell completed a 40-ball century in the 24th match of the ICC World Cup 2023 at the Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. He completed his century with the help of 9 fours and 8 sixes.
Earlier, the record for the fastest century was held by South African batsman Aiden Markram, who scored 100 runs off 49 balls against Sri Lanka.
