   Islamabad (Newshub Update Latest News 29 January 2023) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed his desire to transform Pakistan-Qatar relations into an economic partnership. According to Newshub reports, the Ambassador of Qatar, Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, has met with the Prime Minister of Pakistan. While the Prime Minister of Pakistan congratulated Qatar for hosting the most successful FIFA World Cup 2022 in history and appreciated the important role of Pakistani security forces in ensuring foolproof security at the event.

   It has been reported that in the meeting, reiterating the commitment to work for further expansion of bilateral cooperation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif highlighted the sectors of trade, energy, and manpower in this regard. The Prime Minister of Pakistan recalled the fraternal relations between Pakistan and Qatar and emphasized the transformation of these relations into economic partnerships by both countries.

   A few days ago, Pakistan's Finance Minister Ishaq Dar met his counterpart Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kwari in Qatar and discussed various issues. Special Assistant to Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Mohammad Jahanzeb Khan and the Ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar also participated in this meeting. The Finance Ministers of both countries agreed to increase cooperation in the fields of trade, agriculture, and education.

   On this occasion, Pakistani Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that there are strong relations between the two countries. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar also invited Qatari Finance Minister Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kwari to visit Pakistan. Apart from this, he also congratulated the Qatari Finance Minister on the successful holding of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
