fired at the police. According to a report by new hub, Canyon Media has released a new police report
which alleges that a car fired at GSU officers after being stopped, injuring a constable, after which
retaliatory fire was fired.
Canyon Media added that according to the police, after hearing the sound of gunfire, Khurram Ahmad
called Pakistani Niqar Ahmad, who lives in Tanga, 26 km away, and asked him to bring the vehicle to his house. According to the police, when the vehicle reached Niqar Ahmad's house. So by that time Arshad Sharif had passed away. Canyon Media also reported that Khurram Ahmed was hosting Arshad
in Nairobi, and Khurram Ahmed and Arshad Sharif had spent time at the entertainment complex on the day of the incident.
An entertainment complex in Kamukoro, a short distance from Nairobi, also had a shooting range
popular with Pakistani marksmen. Questions were raised by Aliyud Kibi, a journalist associated with
the Kenyan newspaper The Star, on the statements given by the Kenyan police regarding the alleged
murder of Arshad Sharif.
Journalist Aliyud Kibi has said that the car was initially said to be stolen, but the number of the car
Arshad Sharif was in was different from the number of the stolen car.
While the child who was talked
about abduction had already been recovered before the alleged murder incident.
Regarding the vehicle, the police say that roadblocks were placed to stop the vehicle, but
the interesting thing here is that there was no report of the police chasing the vehicle to recover
the stolen vehicle.
Aliyud Kibi further explained that Khuram Ahmed who was in the car with Arshad Sharif
is not the brother of the deceased but his cousin.
