Authorities in Saudi Arabia may take a tough decision due to
the carelessness of worshipers and growing cases of coronavirus.
Riyadh (News Hub update news) Coronavirus began to rise again in Saudi Arabia. In the last
two and a half months, about 400 worshipers at mosques have been diagnosed with the covid 19,
which is a worrying situation. Ramadan Sharif is also coming in the next few days. At such a time,
there is a fear that mosques may be temporarily closed as the number of cases increases.
Dr. Nasir Tawfiq, a professor of intensive care at King Saud University, said he feared a decision
to temporarily suspend congregational prayers in mosques during Ramadan due to "increasing cases
of covid 19". According to News Hub, Dr. Nasir Tawfiq said, “It is possible that a temporary ban
will be imposed on congregational prayers in mosques.
However, they do not want to prevent people from going to mosques for long. Dr. Nasir Tawfiq
appealed to the people to strictly adhere to the Corona SOPs to avoid further sanctions. Infectious
Diseases Consultant Dr. Vail Bajhum said the problem is that corona vaccinators are becoming
overly satisfied and that their extraordinary satisfaction is the biggest threat to the transmission of
the coronavirus.
Dr. Vail Bajhum added that the situation could not return to normal immediately. We all have
to fully comply with SOPs and avoid negligence until the epidemic is over. He said that vaccinators
should also be banned and should not be overly satisfied. Extraordinary satisfaction can be very
risky when it comes to virus transmission. It may be recalled that 510 cases of coronavirus have
been recorded in the country since October.
