Saudi Arabia has allowed preaching in all mosques, but the duration of this sermon will not exceed 10 minutes.
According to details, short sermons were allowed in all mosques in Saudi Arabia, but the ban on teaching would remain in place. However, online teaching will be allowed.
Saudi Minister of Religious Affairs, Invitation, and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sheikh said in this regard that all mosques will have to abide by this rule.
No one will be allowed to exceed the 10-minute sermon. The management of the mosques has been urged to take precautions such as restricting social distance during the sermon, wearing masks, sanitizing the hands, and so on.
According to News Hub, I'tikaf will not be allowed in Saudi Arabia this time during Ramadan. Similarly, Sheri and Iftar parties will also be banned in mosques and other places.
EID prayer gatherings will be held in open fields instead of mosques. On the other hand, in the month of Ramadan, Masjid Nabavi will be closed half an hour after Taraweeh, and then it will be reopened two hours before Fajr Adan.
However, Masjid Nabavi will remain open 24 hours in the last ten days of Ramadan.
All the corridors, roofs, and courtyards of the Prophet's Mosque will be opened for prayers. According to sources, hotels, and restaurants will also remain closed. However, business activities will be allowed to continue 24 hours a day. However, precautionary measures against corona must be taken at these locations. Otherwise, the business will face closure and fines.
