Good news for frustrated cricket fans

   Karachi (News Hub update sports news) Good news for frustrated cricket fans, the probable
date of holding the remaining matches of PSL 6 in May. According to the news hub, sources said
that the Pakistan Cricket Board is constantly considering the resumption of PSL 6 cricket matches.
It has been informed that the remaining matches of PSL can be held only in the month of May this
year.

   The PCB is consulting in this regard and an announcement is expected soon. Earlier on Thursday,
the chief executive of the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed the postponement of the event due to corona cases and said, "We want to complete the current PSL 6 season like last season."


   Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Executive Wasim Khan while addressing a press conference in Karachi along with PCB Director Medical Dr. Sohail and Director Marketing Babar Hamid said that the impact of the last few days were worrying us and especially the franchisees. Decided to postpone the event.

   Wasim Khan said that we hope that the event will be held again as soon as the opportunity arises. "At now, we are taking steps to control the situation and avoid further difficulties," he said. 


   Wasim Khan said that we want the regular end of PSL 6 as was the case with PSL 5 and the rest of
the cricket matches can be held and we will look for opportunities for new dates later. He said that
it is true that PSL 6, 2021 has been postponed but as a nation, we are determined to complete the
event.

   PCB Media Director Samiul Hassan Burney said that it was wrong to blame Peshawar Zalmi. No player of Peshawar Zalmi tested positive during the entire event. The meeting between Wahab Riaz, Darren Sammy, and Javed Afridi were unintentional.


   On which he also apologized, later Wahab Riaz, Javed Afridi, and Darren Sammy not only test negative but also self-isolation, the event technical committee came to test negative of all three and after Zalmai's apology and appeal to Sammy and Wahab Allowed joining the squad.
