Pakistan's 158-run lead
with 187 for four at the end of the day. In response to South Africa's
220 in the first innings of the test
being played at National Stadium, Karachi, Pakistan managed
to score 378 runs and gave the
hosts a 158-run lead. In the second innings, Aiden Markram and
Elgar Dan started the innings for the visitors.
Elgar fell victim to Yasir Shah after scoring 29 runs, after which Van der Dawson and Markram
continued
to bat cautiously. Babar Azam gave new life to Yasir Shah's bowling by dropping
Aiden Markram's catch for 27 runs.
Markram and Dawson put on a 127-run partnership, during
which they completed their half-centuries.
In the next over, Aiden Makram became the victim
of Noman Ali by playing innings of 74 runs.

the loss of 8 wickets. Hassan Ali dismissed after 24 runs. The last batsman Norman Ali

On the first day Karachi Test, South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first,
scoring 220
