   At the meeting of foreign ministers of the G-7 countries held in Japan, they emphasized the two-state solution of Palestine and announced their support for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

    Tokyo:(News Hub Update latest News. November 8, 2023) According to the World News Agency, Japan's Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa, who presided over the meeting of the G7 foreign ministers in Tokyo, said that the solution to the conflicts in the Middle East is the establishment of two states.

   The foreign minister, who hosted the meeting, further said that all the G-7 member countries also consider the two-state solution of Palestine as correct and that will lead to sustainable peace in the Middle East.

   A joint statement after the meeting said that we support immediate aid, civilian relief, a ceasefire, and the opening of corridors to address the worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

   The joint statement called for the immediate release of all Israelis and foreigners held hostage since the October 7 attack by Hamas.

   The declaration of the meeting also demanded that Iran stop providing military and financial support to Hamas and the Lebanese Hezbollah.

   The G7 countries have urged the Iranian government to stop supporting Hamas and Hezbollah


   Earlier, it was stated in the G-7 meeting that the member states are also working on other measures, including stopping the supply of funds to Hamas.
