According to details, the Pakistan-China border near Khunjarab in Gilgit-Baltistan will be closed on November 30 due to snowfall, which will be opened five months later.
Remember that the border is closed every year under the Border Protocol Agreement. It has been reported that due to heavy snowfall in northern areas, transportation through Khunjrab Pass becomes almost impossible.
On the other hand, according to the Meteorological Department, the weather is cold in the northern regions and most of the upper regions of the country, while smog and fog are expected in Punjab in the morning.
The weather will remain dry in most of the districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while there is a possibility of rain in Kohistan, Mansehra, and Abbottabad and snowfall in the mountains.
In addition, according to the report of the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy fog in the morning and evening in most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Yesterday, the temperature was recorded as minus 1 degree Celsius in Kalam, minus 4 degrees in Skardu, 1 degree Celsius in Dir, 3 degrees Celsius in Malam Jabba, 4 degrees Celsius in Parachinar, and 8 degrees Celsius in Peshawar.
