   Makkah Mukarramah (Newshub Update Latest News 08 January 2023) Saudi Arabia has allowed the payment of Hajj expenses in installments, 20% of the total cost must be paid as the first installment within 72 hours of booking. According to Newshub, Saudi authorities have opened registration for Hajj from within the kingdom and said that domestic pilgrims can pay the Hajj expenses in three installments, within 72 hours of booking the Hajj package. 20% of which has to be paid as the first installment, the Haj package amount can be deposited through the Sadad system, the second installment can be paid up to 29 January 2023, and the date of payment of the third and final installment has been fixed on 30 April.

   It has been informed that the candidate will pay the Hajj fee of his companions under the selected package, the Hajj permit will be issued by the Ministry of Interior, and the candidate will have to print the Hajj permit through the Abshar platform. According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the amount paid for the package before and after the issuance of the Hajj application permit from the state can be withdrawn according to the prescribed policy. However, in case of refusal to issue the Hajj permit, the remaining amount will be paid after deducting the e-service fee from the amount paid.

   According to News Hub, from May 5 to June 18, 2023, the amount will be paid by deducting the e-service fee and ten percent of the package amount will also be deducted. From June 19, no part of the amount paid for the Hajj package will be returned. Exempted from this are those who have died, are disabled, or are injured in traffic accidents to the extent of not being able to perform Hajj and they will be refunded the full amount of the Hajj package.

   It has been learned from the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah that after May 4, 2023, candidates suffering from coronavirus will also be able to withdraw the amount of the Hajj package, they will be able to get a Hajj permit through the Abshar platform and then the website of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah or Bookings through the app must be canceled, similarly the same will be done in the event of adverse health condition of the booking or update of the management terms.
