The Saudi Gazette has reported that a free bus service will be provided from Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport to take visitors to the Haram Mosque. Free bus service will be provided, but the free bus service will only benefit the pilgrims who are in Ihram. While foreigners residing in the Kingdom must have Iqama to avail of this free bus service facility.

   Jeddah Airport authorities say that every 2 hours a bus will depart for Haram Sharif from Terminal One and it will continue daily from 10 am to 10 pm. Back to King Abdulaziz International Airport, Kadi station and dedicated Malik Abdulaziz parking has been allocated, as well as a free shuttle bus to the airport every 2 hours from 12 noon to 12 midnight from Masjid al-Haram.

   Director General of Passports, Lt. Gen. Sulaiman Al Yahya, said that studies are ongoing with the relevant authorities regarding allowing the entry of Hajj pilgrims into Saudi Arabia through all land ports.
