   Melbourne (News Hub. October 23, 2022) In the match of T20 World Cup Group Two, Kohli once again played a good innings and gave India victory against Pakistan. Pakistan suffered a blow at the start of the innings when captain Babar Azam was dismissed for no runs, skipper Babar Azam was lbw off Arsdeep Singh's first ball in the second over.

   Pakistan suffered another loss in the form of wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, who was also dismissed by Arsdeep Singh, who was dismissed for 4 runs in the fourth over of the innings. Pakistan scored 62 runs at the end of 10 overs while the 11th over proved to be a bit better for Pakistan where Iftikhar Ahmed hit the ball over the boundary for 6 runs.

   In the 12th over, Iftikhar Ahmed continued his aggressive batting streak and hit 3 blistering sixes, he was dismissed for 51 off 34 balls.

   After the dismissal of Iftikhar Ahmed, the vice-captain Shadab Khan came to bat and returned to the pavilion after scoring only 5 runs off 6 balls, while Haider Ali came after him who could score only 2 runs off 4 balls. Out. Mohammad Nawaz was also a target of hard Pandya, he scored 9 runs while facing 6 balls. Asif Ali came to bat and returned for just 3 runs, dismissed by Arsdeep Singh.

   Shaun Masood completed his half-century off 40 balls while Shaheen Shah Afridi hit Arsdeep Singh for a six and a four as he was dismissed for 16 after facing 8 balls. Haris Rauf hit Bhuvneshu Kumar for a six on the first ball. Thus, Pakistan scored 159 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs and set India a target of 160 runs to win. Chasing the target, Indian opener KL Rahul was clean bowled by fast bowler Naseem Shah, who could only score 4 runs. In the next over, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was also dismissed by Haris Rauf's ball, he was also dismissed after scoring 4 runs, Iftikhar Ahmed took his brilliant catch. The third player to be dismissed was Surya Kumar Yavid who was guided to the pavilion by Haris Rauf, he was dismissed for 15 runs off 10 balls.

   India's fourth out was Akshar Patel, who was run out by captain Babar Azam's brilliant throw, scoring only 2 runs. Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya formed a formidable partnership to take their team past 100 runs. A good partnership of 113 runs in 78 balls between the two changed the game. Hardik Pandya scored 40 runs and became a victim of Nawaz. India needed 16 runs from 6 balls to win, Nawaz dismissed Dinesh Karthik on the 5th ball of the last over, but India achieved the target of 160 runs on the last ball. Thus, after the thrilling match, India defeated Pakistan by 4 wickets. Kohli scored an unbeaten 82 in the match and won the Man of the Match award. Haris Rauf and Mohammad Nawaz took 2 and 2 wickets for Green Shirts.

   The match between India and Pakistan is being played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground where Indian captain Sharma won the toss and invited Pakistan team to bat. Speaking after the toss, Indian captain said that the pitch is looking good for bowling, the match has been well prepared. Pakistani captain Babar Azam said that if we had won the toss, we would have bowled.

 "We played good cricket against New Zealand," Babar Azam said. Pakistan squad includes captain Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Iftikhar Ahmed, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Rizwan, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood and Haris Rauf. The Indian squad includes Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Ravi Ashwin, Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Arsdeep Singh.
