Cook's successor in 2017, including a 4-1 home series win over India in 2018 and a 3 against
South Africa in 2020. -1 victory is included. In 2018, Joe Root became the first England captain
to win a Test series in Sri Lanka since 2001, a feat he repeated in 2021 with a 2-0 victory over Sri Lanka.
