South African wicketkeeper did not cheat Pakistani batsman,
no fine or ban will be imposed: Match officials
JOHANNESBURG (News Hub update sports news) Match officials have cleared
South African wicketkeeper, Quentin de Kock, over the run-out of Pakistani batsman
Fakhr Zaman. According to cricket news, match officials have given a clean chit to
the South African wicketkeeper on the issue of running out of Pakistani opener
Fakhr Zaman in the second one-day match between South Africa and Pakistan on
Sunday.
Match officials say that after reviewing the video several times, they have come to
the conclusion that wicketkeeper Quentin de Kok did not try to deceive Pakistani
batsman Fakhr Zaman and wicketkeeper de Kok should not be banned or fined.
