PSL 6, Lahore Qalandars beat Karachi Kings by 6 wickets, Ben Dunk and Fakhruzzaman's half-centuries, News Hub
Karachi (News Hub update sports news) In the 11th cricket match of Pakistan Super League
(PSL 6) 2021 being played at National Stadium Karachi. Lahore Qalandars defeated Karachi Kings
by 6 wickets. When Lahore Qalandars started chasing the target, captain Sohail Akhtar was run
out for zero of the first over and returned to the pavilion.
Danley could not understand Muhammad
Amir's ball on the next ball and failed to save wickets.
Muhammad Hafeez was the third batsman of Lahore Qalandars to be bowled by Waqas Maqsood.
He managed to score 15 runs.
Ben Dunk came along with Fakhruzzaman and both of them completed
the half-century of the
cricket team. Fakhruzzaman also completed his half-century with responsible
batting in the 10th
over. In the 11th cricket match of PSL 6 2021, Lahore Qalandars captain won the
toss and invited
Kings to bat first.
Karachi Kings' Sharjeel Khan hit two fours to Shaheen Afridi but the captain of Qalandars
dropped an easy catch which gave Sharjeel a great opportunity. In the second over of Shaheen,
Fakhrazman also dropped Babar Azam's catch but Afridi scored brilliantly in the same over.
Demonstrating fast bowling, Sharjeel Khan hit two sixes to Ahmed Daniel but Harris Rauf
bowled Joe Clarke on the 5th ball and Ahmed Daniel bowled newcomer Colin Ingram.
Mohammad Nabi
came to the crease to bat with Sharjeel and the two batsmen formed a good partnership,
meanwhile, Sharjeel Khan completed a half-century, which included 4 fours and 6
sixes.
After Sharjeel's half-century, Mohammad Nabi hit four and two sixes in Samat Patel's
over.
Mohammad Nabi completed his half-century with a brilliant performance. Haris Rauf caught
Mohammad Nabi by Sharjeel in the 16th over. He hit 57 off 35 balls.
Christian was bowled out for
27, Shaheen Afridi and Samat Patel were bowled out, captain Emad Wasim was bowled out
for zero by Samat Patel, Shaheen Afridi bowled Waqas Maqsood in the last over. Bold who
scored 12 runs, Mohammad Amir came to face Shaheen on the 5th ball of the last
over but blew his
wickets, he had to go back to zero.
Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled brilliantly and
took 3 wickets. It may be recalled that Karachi Kings
and Lahore Qalandars have scored 4.4
points in 3.3 cricket match so far.
