In Japan, 75% of Japanese are opposed to the participation of foreign spectators in the Olympics, but the organizers have not yet made a final decision.

News Hub quoted the daily Yomiuri Shimbun as saying that only 18% of those polled supported allowing foreign fans to watch the Olympics.

Organizers say they will decide later this month whether to allow foreign spectators to watch the
Tokyo Olympic Games. According to the news hub, the Japanese media claim that "the authorities
have already decided that foreign spectators will not be allowed for the Olympics Games."

According to a poll conducted in January this year, public support for the Olympic Games in
Japan has declined, while another poll found that more than 80% of people said the Olympics
should be canceled or postponed again.

Japan's Minister of Administrative and Regulatory Reforms said "anything can happen" with the Tokyo Olympics games being postponed due to the Coronavirus epidemic.

However, the head of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Thomas, said in an interview
that "The Olympic Games, which have been delayed due to the coronavirus epidemic, will be held
this summer, and there are no 'plans' for that."

The March 2020 Olympics games in Tokyo were postponed due to the global outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic.

More than one million foreign spectators were expected to attend the Tokyo Olympics, but the
Tokyo Olympics are expected to be held from July 23 to August 8, 2021, with a one-year delay.
