Karachi (News Hub update sports news) In the third cricket match of Pakistan Super League 6,
Lahore Qalandars defeated Quetta Gladiators by 9 wickets. Sohail Akhtar and Fakhr Zaman completed
the team's half-century in the 7th over in pursuit of the 179-run target on the third day
of PSL 6 being
played at the National Stadium, Karachi. Captain Sohail Akhtar batted slowly and scored 21 runs off 26
balls with the help of 3 fours.

Fakhr Zaman continued to bat responsibly, Muhammad Hafeez came on the field to support him.
In the 11th over of the match, Fakhr Zaman completed his half-century which is his first half-century
of the current season.

Fakhruzzaman scored 82
off 52 balls with the help of 8 fours and 2 sixes and Muhammad Hafeez
faced only 33 balls and scored
73 runs with the help of 6 sixes and 5 fours.
Earlier, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and invited Quetta Gladiators to bat first. For the Gladiators,
Tom Benton and Saim Ayub opened and took a cautious approach but in the second over, Benton
scored just four and was dismissed by Harris Rauf. Shaheen Afridi sent Saim Ayub to the pavilion
in the third over, who scored 3 runs.
Lahore Qalandars did not give Gayle a catch in the
7th over, Sarfraz also batted well.
Gayle took the opportunity to bat and completed his first half-century in the PSL.
Gayle's half-century included 4 fours and 4 sixes. Sarfraz Ahmed and Chris Gayle shared 101 runs.
Harris Rauf finished the innings with 40 runs. Rashid Khan blew Gayle's wickets to give the
Lahore Qalandars a breath of relief. He was dismissed for 68 off 40 balls with the help of
four fours and 5 sixes.
Ahmed Daniel caught Azam Khan at the hands of Shaheen Afridi, he scored 13 runs off 9 balls with
the help of a four. Haris Rauf blew the wickets of Ben Cutting who scored 5 runs. Muhammad Nawaz
batted well in the closing overs and scored 33 off 20 balls, while Anwar Ali scored one off one ball.
Gladiators scored 178 for the loss of 6 wickets in the specific overs.
According to the news hub, Haris Rauf was the top wicket-taker for Lahore Qalandars with 3
wickets.
Quetta Gladiators lost to Karachi Kings in the first cricket match while Lahore Qalandars defeated
Zalmi to start the tournament victoriously. Lahore Qalandars captain
Sohail Akhtar said that
a change has taken place in the team. Quetta Gladiators captain
Sarfraz Ahmed said that they will try
to play well and two changes have been made to the team.
