   PSL 6, Louis Gregory's cricket match-winning innings

   Karachi (News Hub update sports news) In the third cricket match of Pakistan Super League 2021, Islamabad United defeated Multan Sultans by 3 wickets. Phil Salt and Alex Hales shared 30 for the

first wicket for Islamabad in pursuit of the 151-run target, but Mohammad Omar took the wicket

of Phil Salt to give the Sultans their first victory. Carlos Braithwaite caught Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan at the hands of Riley Russo.

   Shahid Afridi failed to bat but blew the wickets of Hales in his first over, Asif Ali became the second victim of Afridi by scoring 9 runs who also ran out Iftikhar Ahmed who scored 1 run in the same over, Hussain Talat hit a six.

   Became the victim of Khushdal Shah in his attempt. Islamabad United lost 6 wickets for 74 runs

in 11 overs, but Louis Gregory teamed up with Faheem Ashraf to take the score to 111, Brathwaite dismissed Faheem Ashraf scored 22 runs. Louise Gregory leveled the score in the 19th over with a

six and three fours in Sohail Tanveer's over. Islamabad United beat in the last over.

   Shahid Afridi and Braithwaite of Multan Sultans took 2.2 wickets each. Earlier, Islamabad

captain Shadab Khan won the toss of the cricket match being played at the National Stadium,

Karachi, and decided to field first. Multan Sultans started batting, Chris Lane made one run and

became LBW on the ball of Faheem Ashraf. Captain Mohammad Rizwan and James Owens batted carefully and completed half a century but James Owens scored 16 runs and was bowled by Fahim Ashraf. 

    Mohammad Rizwan took full advantage of his form and continued to bat responsibly. Riley Rousseau scored 25 runs for the loss of 87 runs. Sohaib Maqsood failed again and Mohammad Wasim Jr.'s first wicket for just 2 runs. Khushdal Shah also managed to score only 7 runs. Mohammad Rizwan played brilliant innings of 71 runs and was bowled by Mohammad Waseem who played his first cricket match.

   Muhammad Wasim, a young bowler from Waziristan, got a hat-trick by dismissing Shahid Afridi,

but Carlos Brathwaite squandered his hopes. Sultans scored 150 for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated last over. Muhammad Waseem took 3 wickets in his first cricket match, Gregory took

2 wickets. After winning the toss, Shadab Khan said that on this wicket we will try to limit Multan Sultans to 140 runs. Multan Sultans captain said that we will try to take advantage of the situation.
