LAHORE: (News Hub update) Chief selector has announced the Pakistan squad for the three-match T20 series
against South Africa. Hassan Ali and Zahid Mahmood have been included in the T20 squad.
Muhammad Hafeez, who scored the most T20 runs last year, has not been included in the squad.
All-rounder Emad Wasim, Wahab Riaz, and Fakhr Zaman also failed to make the squad.
Lahore's famous Gaddafi Stadium will host all three T20 matches scheduled for February 11, 13, and 14.
Babar Azam (captain), Asif Ai, Haider Ali, Khushdal Shah, Hussain Talat, Danish Aziz, Iftikhar Ahmed, Zafar Gohar, Muhammad Nawaz, Fahim Ashraf, Emad Butt, Amir Yameen, in the 20-member national squad for the series against South Africa. Sarfraz Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Hasnain, Zahid Mahmood Hassan Ali, and Usman Qadir.
