   Sahibzada Farhan became the first opener after Fakhar Zaman to score 3 half-centuries in a season for Lahore Qalandars since the start of 2017.

   Lahore (News Hub Update Latest PSL9 News. February 25, 2024) In the 10th match of the 9th edition of the Pakistan Super League being played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Lahore Qalandars opener Sahibza Farhan scored 3 half-centuries in the same season after Fakhar Zaman. He became the first opener to score. Right-handed batsman Sahibzada Farhan played an unbeaten innings of 72 runs off 45 balls and provided a good target for his team.

   Remember that Lahore Qalandars have given Karachi Kings a target of 176 runs to win. Karachi Kings won the toss and invited Lahore Qalandars to bat. Fakhar Zaman of Lahore Qalandars failed to play a big innings, he was dismissed by Osama Mir for 6 runs.

   Sahibzada Farhan and Rasi Vander Doosan pushed the score forward, but Rasi Vander Doosan was dismissed for 26 off a total of 45. Shay Hope contributed to the team's score with 21, Jahandad Khan 12, Ahsan Hafeez 8, and George Linda remained not out with 26 runs.

   Hassan Ali, Mir Hamza, and Tabriz Shamsi took two wickets each for Karachi Kings. Karachi Kings captain Shaan Masood said that he is satisfied with the performance so far. It is hoped that all the players will show the same performance as they showed in the last match. Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi said that our batting and bowling have been good but there are problems in fielding. 

    West Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Shai Hope is also a part of Lahore Qalandars in today's match. He could not participate in the first three matches due to playing BPL.
