PSL 9, Lahore Qalandars target Quetta Gladiators by 188 runs

   Lahore(News Hub Update Latest News. February 19, 2024) In the fourth match of PSL 9, Lahore Qalandars have given a target of 188 runs to Quetta Gladiators. In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi won the toss and decided to bat first.

   Lahore Qalandars scored 187 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

   Lahore Qalandars opener Sahibzada Farhan faced 43 balls and stood out with 62 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 6 fours. Jahan Dad Khan of Lahore Qalandars played an unbeaten innings of 45 runs off 17 balls with the help of 4 sixes and 3 fours. Sikandar Raza of Lahore Qalandars scored 18 runs, Der Davison scored 15 runs, Shaheen Afridi scored 12 runs and Abdullah Shafique scored 11 runs while Fakhar Zaman and Carlos Brathwaite scored 6 and 6 runs respectively.

   Aqeel Hussain and Mohammad Hasnain of Quetta Gladiators took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.
   
   Two changes have been made to the Lahore Qalandars squad, with Lorcan Tucker and David Vaisaki replacing Carlos Brathwaite and Sikandar Raza. It should be remembered that in the opening match of PSL, Lahore Qalandars lost to Islamabad United by 8 wickets while Quetta Gladiators defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 16 runs in their first match. Quetta Gladiators will try to maintain their winning streak with a win in today's match while Lahore Qalandars will try hard to win their second match after losing the first match.
