Karachi (Newshub Update Latest PSL8 News 09 February 2023) A security coordination meeting was held in the conference hall of SSU headquarters regarding the Pakistan Super League 8 matches to be played at National Stadium Karachi, which from the beginning of the event. Security arrangements were reviewed earlier. Spokesperson DIG Security and Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed presided over the meeting.
In the security coordination meeting SSP East Zubair Nazir, SSP Security Syed Salman, SSP Special Branch Irfan Mukhtiar Bhutto, SSP Irfan Bahadur, SPSSU Dr. Najeeb, SP Assistant 15 Hafeezur Rehman, Assistant Commissioner Civil Lions Abdul Hanan, Pak Army, Rangers, senior officers of PCB and all stakeholders participated.
The participants were informed about the security arrangements that security personnel including SSU Commandos, District Police, Special Branch, and other law enforcement agencies will be deployed at the National Stadium, Karachi Airport, routes, practice grounds, and other various places. will perform the duties while expert shooters will be posted at sensitive places.
DIG Security vowed to provide foolproof security to teams and spectators and issued instructions to ensure the peaceful conduct of the PSL8 event.
