The reality of the news circulating about the drone attack in Pakistan | News Hub

Pakistan (News Hub Update) A report circulating on social media said that the US drone strike
in the Shawal area of North Waziristan had killed seven members of the same family and injured
three others. Shawal is located on the border of North and South Waziristan, which has a very small
population. Apparently, an attempt is being made on social media to link this news with the current
political situation, in which it is being said that US drone strikes have started after Imran Khan's
departure from the PM's post.

The US could not carry out drone strikes on Pakistan. North Waziristan deputy commissioner
denies drone strike Deputy Commissioner North Waziristan Shahid Ali said in a video message
on his Facebook that no drone strike had taken place anywhere in North Waziristan and that the
news circulating on social media was false. He termed the news as fabricated and appealed to
journalists and social media persons to show responsibility in such sensitive situations and avoid
baseless news.

On the other hand, local journalist Noor Behram said in a video message on social media that
the sources had reported the drone strike in North Waziristan but when the administrative officers
and police were contacted about it, the attack could not be confirmed from anywhere. ۔
In this regard, a video is also circulating on social media in which the drone is seen flying, the
investigation of which has revealed that this video is from the year 2015.

Most users on social media are questioning whether the news that this drone strike has taken place
is true. In addition, it includes consumers who, without confirmation, have come to the conclusion
that after the departure of Imran Khan, Pakistan is now under the influence of the United States and
the United States can do whatever it wants in Pakistan.
