Harare (News Hub update sports news) On the second day of the second Test, the Pakistani
team declared the innings at 510 for the loss of 8 wickets, Abid Ali managed to score a double
century. The second match of the two-Test series between Zimbabwe and Pakistan is underway
in Harare.
On the first day of the match, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat, and scored 268 for 4
by the end of the day. Ali showed excellent innings and completed centuries, but Azhar Ali was
dismissed for 126 runs.
Opener Abid Ali continued his batting on the second day of the game
and scored a double century off 393 balls in which he hit 27 fours.
Opener Abid Ali scored the first double century of his career, becoming the second Pakistani
batsman to score a double century in Harare.
Earlier, former captain and current batting coach
Younis Khan had scored a double century in 2013. It should be noted that the national team has
a 1-0 lead in the two-Test series. Pakistan had defeated Zimbabwe by 116 runs in the first Test.
