   Harare (News Hub update sports news) Pakistan and Zimbabwe in the first match of
the three-match T20 series, Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe by 11 runs to take a 1-0 lead in
the series. In the first match of the series at Harare Sports Club, the Pakistani batting line
failed completely but thanks to the innings of Mohammad Rizwan, they managed to score
149 runs in the allotted 20 overs.

   For Zimbabwe, Wesley Medveira and Tinashe Kuman Hakamwe started the innings, but
Medveira lost his wicket for 14 runs, after which Tadi Walshe came to Marumani's crease and
lost his wicket on the first ball. Tinashe formed a 56-run stand for the third wicket between
Kuman Hakamwe and Craig Irwin, but Mohammad Hafeez ended the partnership. Kamman
was dismissed for 29. Aaron was also dismissed for 34 in the next over.

   Captain Sean Williams was the guest for only 9 runs and wicketkeeper-batsman Chakabwa
was the guest for 3 runs. Ryan Burrell and Luke Jongwe played well at the last minute but could
not help the team win. Usman Qadir took 3, Mohammad Hasnain 2 wickets while Haris Rauf
and Mohammad Hafeez took one wicket each. Earlier, Zimbabwe won the toss and invited
Pakistan to bat. Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan started the innings for Pakistan.

   On a total score of 8, Mazarbani dismissed Babar Azam for just 2 runs. After Babar Azam,
Fakhr Zaman came on the field to support Rizwan and the two formed a partnership of 34 runs.
On this occasion, Fakhr Zaman was dismissed by Madhivera for 13 runs. Muhammad Hafeez,
the third out, could score only 5 runs. Danish Aziz, who played his first T20, was the guest for
15 runs, Haider Ali scored only 5 runs and Faheem Ashraf scored just one run.

   Mohammad Rizwan held an end and completed his half-century, he came back unbeaten on
82 runs, Mohammad Rizwan's innings included 10 fours and a six. Danish Aziz is making his
debut for Pakistan in the first match today. The next two matches of the T20 series between
Zimbabwe and Pakistan will also be played in Harare on April 23 and 25. Fans will not be
allowed to the stadium.

After the T20 series, two Test matches will also be played between both teams. Pakistan team
for the match includes Babar Azam (captain), Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhr Zaman, Haider Ali,
Usman Qadir, Danish Aziz, Mohammad Hafeez, Mohammad Nawaz, Fahim Ashraf,
Mohammad Hasnain, and Haris Rauf, while Zimbabwe's Sean Williams (Captain), Luke Jongwe,
Tinashe Kamohkamawe, Ryan Burrell, Wesley Madhyure, Tadivanashe Marumani, Craig Irwin,
Regis Chakboa, Wellington Masakadza, Blessing Mozarbani, and Richard Nirav.
