   LAHORE:(News Hub) Pakistan defeated South Africa by 3 runs in the first match of the three-match T20 series to take a 1-0 lead in the series. In the match played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, South African captain H Klaassen won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. Captain Babar Azam returned to zero on the second ball of the first over.

   Haider Ali came to support Mohammad Rizwan and scored 21 runs with the help of 3 sixes while playing beautiful strokes. After their dismissal, Rizwan and Hussain Talat completed the team's half-century in the 7th over. When the team's score reached 69, Hussain Talat was out for 15 runs. Mohammad Rizwan continued to bat responsibly and completed a half-century. Iftikhar Ahmed was gone away for just 4 runs while Khushdal Shah's innings was also limited to 12 runs.
